By Order No. 6035 dated May 20, 2026, the Ministry of Economy amended the List of National Standards for the application of the Technical Regulation on Personal Protective Equipment (CMU Resolution No. 771). The document updates the baseline list in accordance with European Commission decisions (specifically EU 2023/941) and introduces updated editions of DSTU EN standards for product testing and safety verification.
The update directly impacts manufacturers and importers of protective gloves, safety footwear, helmets, respiratory protective equipment (RPE), protective clothing, and fall protection systems. Standards from this list provide a presumption of conformity when drawing up a Declaration of Conformity and undergoing conformity assessment procedures under the Technical Regulation.
Using outdated versions of standards in the technical file or declaration deprives the product of the presumption of conformity and may lead to penalties from market surveillance authorities. Companies are advised to review their documentation against the updated list and promptly update their conformity assessment where necessary.
